80 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the amount of land in the ownership of the Office of Public Works along the Royal Canal at Spenser Dock, Dublin 1, immediately at the rear of the houses at Canon Lillis Avenue and Oriel Street Lower in Dublin 1.
I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works that they do not own any property along the Royal Canal at Spenser Dock, Dublin 1. On the transfer of the Royal Canal to the Commissioners of Public Works under the Canals Act, 1986, only the canal waterway in this area was transferred, while the associated property remained in the ownership of CIE.
