Ceist:

265 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if, given the urgent need for payment of grants awarded to St. Agnes's primary school, Armagh Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12, for work completed and certified by the Office of Public Works, payment will be made to the school immediately as the board of management are under great pressure from contractors for immediate payment.

The supervising architects certificate in respect of the works completed at St. Agnes's national school, Armagh Road, Dublin 12 was received in my Department recently. This is being processed with a view to paying the appropriate grant to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
