Vol. 415 No. 1

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Paul Bradford

Ceist:

452 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education the current position concerning an application for school transport by a family (details supplied) in County Cork.

Arrangements for school transport are made by Bus Éireann which acts as agent for my Department in the provision of school transport.

From inquiries made, I understand that the family in question does not qualify for free transport under the terms of the primary school transport scheme.

Fare paying transport from the nearest pick-up point is available should they wish to apply to Bus Éireann for this concession.
