72 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in payment of a sum of £33,359 which is the balance of a grant due to the board of management of a school (details supplied) in County Limerick; if he will expedite the payment of the outstanding amount; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The completion certificates in respect of the works carried out to the school in County Limerick referred to by the Deputy were received in my Department from the supervising architect recently. Payment of the appropriate grant on foot of these certificates is being processed and will be made to the school authorities at an early date.
