Ceist:129 Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Justice if he will provide a permanent and expanded family mediation service; and if he will appoint a permanent full time co-ordinator for this service.

Any decision on the future of the family mediation service will have to await the results of the deliberations of the review committee which I expect to appoint very shortly. It would be inappropriate to make any major changes in the service pending receipt of the committee's report.
