Ceist:148 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the extension to Carnaun national school, Athenry, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Provision has been made in the 1992 primary school capital programme for the placing of a contract for the extension of the school. Tender documents are currently being examined. I am not in a position to say when precisely work will commence.
