Ceist:173 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the Government's policy on funding the various rape crisis centres throughout the country.

I recognise the valuable contribution made by rape crisis centres in the counselling of victims of rape and sexual abuse.
The funding arrangements in the current year are as follows: Dublin Rape Crisis Centre — £152,000; £25,000 each to the centres in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford and Clonmel.
