175 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of (1) the date of the setting up of the Kenny Commission, (2) the number of times the Kenny Commission have met in plenary session and (3) the dates of these sessions.
The working group to draw up a plan for the development of hospital services in Cork city and country under the chairmanship of Mr. Kevin Kenny was established in November 1990. To date 16 full committee meetings and two sub-group committee meetings have been held. The dates of these meetings are as follows: 5 February 1991, 19 February 1991, 5 March 1991, 19 March 1991, 2 April 1991, 23 April 1991, 14 May 1991, 27 May 1991, 11 June 1991, 18 June 1991, 2 July 1991 (visit to Mallow Hospital), 4 July 1991 (visit to Bantry Hospital), 16 July 1991, 10 September 1991, 1 October 1991, 12 December 1991, 4 February 1992 (sub-group meeting) and 11 February 1992 (sub-group meeting).
