Ceist:105 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education if he will provide free school transport to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The question raised by the Deputy is a matter for Bus Éireann, who are the appointed agents for my Department for administration of the school transport scheme.
My Department understands that Bus Éireann have no record of an application from the family concerned. If such an application is made through the principal of the school to Bus Éireann, they will consider it in the normal way.
