This person's application for grants under the 1991 beef cow and equines headage and suckler cow and special beef premium schemes are being processed at present and if found in order payments will be made shortly.

Ceist:322 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage, suckler cow and beef premium grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim for the years 1990 and 1991.
Cattle grants for the years 1990 and 1991 are being withheld for possible offsetting against overpayments that may have been made to the person named during previous years when he failed to disclose an off-farm income. His applications will be considered further when he submits statements from his local inspector of taxes as to his income for the tax years ended 5 April 1981, 5 April 1982 and 5 April 1983.

Ceist:323 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive payment of his headage and suckler cow grants; and the reason for the long delay in making this payment.
This person's application for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage, suckler and special beef premium schemes are being processed at present and if found in order payments wil be made shortly. Payment was delayed in this case because my Department were awaiting documentation from the applicant for lands owned and farmed by him.

This applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes. He did not apply for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. There was no particular delay in making these payments.
