194 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Education the development stage of working drawings for the provision of a new infants' classroom at Hewetson School in Clane, County Kildare; when it is expected that these drawings will be completed; if this project will go to tender in 1993; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
212 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education when urgently required facilities are likely to be provided at Hewetson national school, Clane, County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter with particular reference to clearance of outstanding developmental stages in her Department, provision of the necessary finance within the context of the 1993 Estimates and projected starting and completion dates for the works.
I propose taking Questions Nos. 194 and 212 together.
Architectural planning for this building project is proceeding and should be completed before the end of April. It was not possible to include this project in the national schools capital programme for 1993 because of the claims on finance available made by other higher priority projects. It will be considered for future inclusion in the capital programme in the light of available resources.
