196 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if she has received a request from Dún Laoghaire Corporation for the use of the grounds of Carriglea House for recreational purposes; if so, the consideration, if any, she has given to this request; whether she will accede to the request; and the plans, if any, she has for this site in the longer term.

A request has been received from Dún Laoghaire Corporation for the use of the grounds of Carriglea House for recreational purposes.

It is at present under consideration and my Department will be replying to the corporation as soon as possible.
