224 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in processing the sale of a turbary (details supplied) in County Roscommon; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this delay has jeopardised the inclusion of a proposal to develop this turbary with Leader assistance; and if he will expidite the sale to allow an employment creation development to proceed.

There has been some delay in this matter as a result of the relocation of the records branch of the Land Commission in autumn 1992.

However, I understand that proposals for the disposal of this turbary are being finalised as a matter of urgency.
