322 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the number of schools in the categories 100-199 pupils, 200-299 pupils, 300-399 pupils, 400-499 pupils which have received grants under the Programme for Economic and Social Progress agreement for the provision of caretaking and clerical services in 1992.
The information requested by the Deputy is as follows. I have also given the number of relevant schools that have enrolments of 500+ pupils, as the programme was introduced on a phased basis beginning, in 1992, with the bigger schools. Additional funds have been made available for 1993 to enable more schools to be provided with these services and it is intended that this process will continue over the next few years.
