Ceist:231 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the necessary moneys so that the construction of an extension at the Cork School of Music can proceed in view of the overcrowded conditions at that school.

The Director of the Regional Technical College, Cork, recently submitted a range of capital development proposals for the College including a new extension for the School of Music.
While no provision has been made in the 1993 estimates for the extension, my Department will be continuing its consultations with the Director in respect of the capital provision to be made available for the various projects at the College for the period 1994-1997.
