Ceist:95 Mr. Mulvihill asked the Minister for Justice if she intends to commence building the new Garda station in Cobh, County Cork; if so, when; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Cobh (Cork) New Garda Station.
It is proposed to provide a new Garda station at Cobh, County Cork by utilising the former Custom House site and adjoining properties. Negotiations in relation to the purchase of the adjoining properties are at an advanced stage. It is not possible to say when work will commence but I can assure the Deputy that there will be no avoidable delay once the site issue is resolved.
