Ceist:97 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade if there any measures required to be taken in his remit of responsibility to comply with the terms of the Single Market; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As Minister for Tourism and Trade, I have overall responsibility in Ireland for the completion of the Community's Single Market programme. All of the specific measures comprising the programme, however, are the direct responsibility of other Ministers. My concern is that such measures should be implemented in a timely and effective manner.
