Vol. 433 No. 2
66 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if the new State agency, Forbairt, will have regional offices; and, if so, if he will give a list of their proposed locations throughout the country.
I intend that Forbairt will have a strong regional presence. At present, both the Industrial Development Authority and Eolas operate a number of regional offices based in the following locations: Letterkenny, Sligo, Galway, Athlone, Killarney, Dundalk, Dublin, Waterford and Cork. These offices will form the basis for the regional structure of Forbairt which will be developed over time in response to the needs of industry and in conjunction with the services currently being provided by SFADCo and Údarás na Gaeltachta.
