Ceist:81 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Finance if he will make a statement on the provision of finance for the Castlebar environs sewage scheme, County Mayo.

The provision of urban sewage services is not a matter which falls within the area of responsibility of the Commissioners of Public Works. I am not in a position therefore to provide the information sought by the Deputy directly. However, I have asked my colleague the Minister for the Environment to examine the matter and respond directly to the Deputy.
