110 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment the decision, if any, that has been made by his Department with regard to the inclusion of candidates' photographs on ballot papers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I refer to the reply to Question No. 144 on 1 April 1992, the Dáil Adjournment Debate on 9 April 1992 and the Committee Stage debate on the Electoral Bill on 4 November 1992. The matter has also been debated in the Seanad in the context of the Electoral Bill, 23 June 1992, and the Presidential Elections Bill, 18 November 1993. I have nothing further to add at this point.
