Ceist:186 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education if she will accede to the request by the board of management, St. Mary's national school, Spiddal, County Galway, to temporarily employ a remedial teacher.

As indicated to the House in response to Question No. 300 of 29 March 1994, I am having this matter investigated by my Department.
This investigation requires contact with the school in question and the Deputy will appreciate that progress in this regard has been impeded by the intervention of the Easter holiday break.
I will advise the Deputy of the position as soon as possible.
