Ceist:197 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for a grant in order to lay tarmac on a school playground (details supplied) in County Mayo.

An application for a grant to resurface the playground of the school in question was received on 19 April 1994 and was referred to my Department's local technical advisers to report on the matter. When the report is received and considered, a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities.
