88 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the effect, if any, the devaluation of February 1993, had on extra allocation of money to the Leader companies in Ireland; and if any Leader company had its budget increased.

The formal agreements with the Leader groups were made in Irish pounds. Consequently, the level of public funds committed to the groups was unaffected by the devaluation.
