Ceist:

191 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health if he will offer financial assistance towards the cost of the expenses involved for the treatment in Barcelona of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 who suffers from a rare disease; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that the Eastern Health Board has agreed to contribute financially towards the living costs of the child's parents while in Barcelona, Spain.
