Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Eamon O Cuív — an gá atá ann déanamh cinnte má dhéantar dílárú ar an nGúm go n-aistreofar go ceantar Gaeltachta é. (2) Deputy Frances Fitzgerald — the increase in the use of bed and breakfast accommodation for homeless children in the eastern and other health board areas. (3) Deputy Deenihan — the distress and suffering caused to cancer patients in St. Luke's Hospital, Dublin 6, because of the breakdown of the simulator machine resulting in the transfer of some patients to Cork for treatment and in delayed treatment for others. (4) Deputy Connaughton — the refusal of payment under the ewe hogget headage scheme in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Galway who was deemed ineligible for the scheme as he had failed to enter the relevant figure on the application form. The matter raised by the following Deputies Connaughton, Frances Fitzgerald, Deenihan and Ó Cuív have been selected for discussion.
