Written Answers. - Water Quality Management Plan.
The making of a water quality management plan is a reserved function of the local authority concerned. As far as I am aware, no such plan is under preparation for the inner Galway Bay area. However, extensive research relevant to the water quality management of this area has been carried out in the past and is also contained in the preliminary report and environmental impact statement carried out for the Galway main drainage scheme.
