18 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment if he has made financial provision in the operational programme submitted by his Department to the EU to enable the proposed Smearla Dam, Duagh, County Kerry, to go ahead; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This scheme is at an early stage of planning and it is premature to address details of its financing at this stage.
