Ceist:155 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if his Department has received EU aid for technical assistance under the community support framework; and if so, the amount in the period 1989-93.

My Department received a direct allocation of £100,000 for technical assistance under the Community Support Framework 1989-1993 within the multi-funded operational programme for rural development which was co-funded by the EU at an average of 60 per cent.
My Department also had limited access to the general technical assistance fund operated by the Department of Finance under the Community Support Framework.
