Ceist:14 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Defence the new or refurbishment projects proposed for 1995 in accommodation for Defence Forces personnel. [3973/95]
A total of £13.5 million has been provided under Schedule V of the Defence Estimates 1995 for Building and Engineering Works. This represents an increase of £8.15 million on the 1994 outturn of £5.35 million and will be expended on capital projects (£9.5 million) and maintenance projects (£4 million) throughout the Defence Forces. These include building, engineering, painting, tarmacadam, maintenance and repair works and the purchase of stores and materials for the Corps of Engineers.

Ceist:15 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Defence the strength in Kickhams Barracks, Clonmel in 1993 and 1994; and if he will make a formal visit to the barracks in the near future. [3991/95]
It is not the practice to disclose details of the strength of Permanent Defence Forces personnel stationed at any particular location.
It is my intention to visit a number of military barracks as time and other commitments permit.
