101 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the names, locations and descriptions of projects successful under his alternative energy requirement competition in counties Sligo, Leitrim and Mayo; the estimated contribution of these projects to electricity generating capacity by the year 1997; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5712/95]
Under the alternative energy requirement scheme, power purchase agreements will be offered by the ESB in respect of four projects in the counties specified by the Deputy; two wind farms in Leitrim and two hydro schemes in Mayo. The following table details the particulars of these projects. None of the projects to be offered power purchase agreements in the scheme will be sited in County Sligo.
