I propose to take Questions Nos. 126 and 127 together.

Given the high level of demands under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance these proposals.

129 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the proposal to provide a public sewerage system at Kilronan, Aran Islands, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8567/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 128 and 129 together.

Galway County Council have proposed the construction of new sewerage schemes at Kilronan and Clifden. My Department will shortly be submitting an application for Cohesion Fund assistance for these schemes in the context of an integrated application for water and sewerage projects for the Connemara and Aran Islands region. It would be the intention to advance individual projects as soon as the application is determined.
