216 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education the reason a directive to re-route a school bus (details supplied) which was given to Bus Éireann in December 1994, was never complied with; if arrangements will now be made to have this extension put in place without further delay; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I understand that it is not possible for Bus Éireann to re-route the school bus in accordance with the directive referred to by the Deputy. The road leading to the homes of the pupils involved is very narrow and would not be suitable for a minibus to traverse.
