Payment of the 1995 sheep headage grant will be made to the person named within the next week. The delay in this case arose from the fact that the RSI number was not submitted with the application. The RSI number only came to hand with the Deputy's representations on 14 November 1995.

80 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid the 1995 suckler cow premium. [18356/95]

The person named has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1995 suckler cow premium scheme because one of the 13 animals applied for on the application form as an eligible breed was found at inspection to be an ineligible cross-breed friesian cow.

Furthermore, under the terms and conditions of the suckler cow premium scheme the person named will not be eligible for grants under any of the 1996 suckler cow premium schemes.
