Vol. 463 No. 3

Written Answers. - Enterprise Boards' Administration Costs.

Batt O'Keeffe

Ceist:

331 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the total cost of administration in each county enterprise board; the total cost of renting and leasing accommodation; and the percentage of total expenditure represented by each of these costs. [6118/96]

County enterprise boards are now operating as independent locally controlled enterprise development companies. Each board has been given an allocation of £120,000 for administration costs for 1996 and it is a matter of day-to-day responsibility for each board to budget for their overall administrative costs, including the renting and leasing of accommodation, and to stay within this limit.
