47 Mr. Callely asked the Taoiseach the foreign trips undertaken by him and the Minister(s) of State at his Department since assuming office; the total number of people who travelled on each trip; the names of the passengers; the total cost of each trip; and the sources of funding for each trip. [6283/96]

I refer the Deputy to the official report of 18 October 1995 to my reply to Question No. 61. This sets out details of foreign travel undertaken by me and Ministers of State at my Department to that date.

The information in respect of any foreign travel since 18 October is outlined in the following schedule.

Costs in relation to my Department are met by the Department's Vote. Costs in relation to officials from other Departments are borne on their respective departmental Votes. In accordance with normal practice some costs will be met initially by the Department of Foreign Affairs and recouped from my Department.
