68 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for the Environment when tenders will be invited in respect of the Ballyjames-duff sewerage scheme, County Cavan; when construction work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10702/96]

Contract documents for this scheme have recently been approved and it now remains for the local authority to proceed to tender. It is hoped that the scheme will commence towards the end of 1996.
