86 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education the funds, if any, she will provide to the Kildare teachers' centre based at the De La Salle national school, Kildare town, to enable it to be organised on a full-time professional basis. [11940/96]
The matter of the further development of the network of education centres is under consideration in my Department. Decisions have not yet been made. The question of the change of status and the related funding arrangements for any part-time education centre or study group is being considered in the context of the overall development of the network. The Deputy will be interested to know that the in-career development unit of my Department has approved funding for a number of courses organised by the Kildare study group during the 1995-96 school year.
