198 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education whether a school (details supplied) in County Tipperary will be allocated sufficient teachers to provide a transition year class; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13526/96]

My Department has allocated additional teaching resources to the school in question for the 1996-97 school year to cater for a projected increase in enrolments arising from the introduction of the transition year option in the school.
