179 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid the 72 pence per mile in respect of mileage costs incurred in view of the fact that he is a member of the Irish Vocational Education Association. [23183/96]

The processing of claims in respect of travel and subsistence allowances in respect of attendance at meetings of a vocational education committee, its approved sub-committees or meetings of the IVEA, is matter for each individual vocational education committee.
