105 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the need for a water-augmentation scheme in Carrickmacross; the current stage of development of this scheme; if he will give approval to the urban council to proceed with the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A brief for the Carrickmacross water supply augmentation scheme has been submitted to my Department but, given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve it.
