Limerick East): The Deputy will wish to know that funding was allocated to the North Eastern Health Board area in respect of the waiting list initiative in 1995 and 1996 as per the following table.
This funding has been used to reduce waiting lists in the North Eastern Health Board area by carrying out additional procedures in ENT and dermatology in the Cavan-Monaghan Hospital, orthopaedics in Navan Hospital, gynaecology in Louth County Hospital and additional procedures in ENT and endoscopy in Our Lady of Lourdes, Drogheda.
