88 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the submission for repairs and refurbishment made by City of Galway Vocational Education Committee in 1993, which outlined the deplorable conditions at Moneenageisha Vocational School, Galway, due to the delay in having urgent repair works carried out to the roof of the school; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application for repair and refurbishment works at Moneenageisha Vocational School, Galway, is under consideration at present. Officials from the building unit of my Department will be in contact with City of Galway Vocational Education Committee regarding the works.

Due to limited resources and competing priorities it has not been possible to proceed with these works to date.
