Written Answers. - Bord na Mó na Funding.
I am pleased to inform the House that the Government last week injected a further £51 million equity into Bord na Móna. This, taken together with the first tranche of equity injected last December, brings to a total of £100 million the equity injected into the company to date. The effect of this financial support from the State is that Bord na Móna has now been placed on a sound financial footing and can meet the future with confidence.
