Vol. 481 No. 5

Written Answers - Grant Payments.

John V. Farrelly

Ceist:

61 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason persons (details supplied) in County Meath have not been paid the follow-up tuberculosis reactor grants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16526/97]

TB reactor grants due to the persons named were paid recently.

Michael Ring

Ceist:

62 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid her sheep headage for 1997. [16527/97]

The person named applied for 28 sheep under the 1997 ewe premium scheme and was paid a first instalment of £253.42 on 8 July 1997. She also applied for 35 sheep under the 1997 sheep headage scheme.

There is a problem with her area aid application and my Department will be contacting her shortly in an effort to have that problem sorted out.

Michael Ring

Ceist:

63 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive his cattle headage payment for 1997. [16528/97]

It is hoped to establish this applicant's eligibility, by resolving his area aid application problems, in time to meet the payment commitments in the Charter of Rights for Farmers.
