Ceist:38 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received the Bristow report on the School Transport System; if so, if he will publish it; and the action, if any, he proposes to take on the recommendations contained in the report. [16602/97]
I propose to answer Questions Nos. 22 and 38 together.
The report of the School Transport Review Committee was received by my colleague, the Minister of State, Deputy O'Dea, in September 1997 and is currently being examined in my Department. Until such time as this examination has been completed, I am not in a position to say when the report will be published or what action will be taken on foot of its recommendations.
