116 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 202 of 4 November 1997 when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo with a heart condition will be called for an ultrasound scan in view of the fact that the health board has not replied to Deputy Ring's representations and the person's parents worry that the current weather is aggravating his health. The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons in County Mayo is the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board in the first instance. I understand that the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board has replied directly to the Deputy regarding Question No. 202 of 4 November 1997.
