139 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if REP scheme payment for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be expedited in view of the financial pressure that he is experiencing. [21831/97]

A third year REPS payment of £1,070.49 was issued to this applicant last week.

140 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim will receive her cattle headage and suckler cow premium. [21877/97]

The following payments have now issued to the person named: £1,258.80 in respect of 1997 cattle headage application and £925.51 in respect of 1997 suckler cow application.

141 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid her 1997 sheep headage grants. [21878/97]

The following payment has now issued to the person named: £550 in respect of 1997 sheep headage application.

142 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo was paid his cattle headage grants for each of the years from 1995 to date in 1997; and, if not, the reason in this regard. [21879/97]

The person named received his full entitlement of £240 under the 1995 cattle headage scheme on 2 October 1995. He received his full entitlement of £264 under the 1996 cattle headage scheme on 13 November 1996.

An amount of £209.88 was deducted from this entitlement under the 1997 cattle headage scheme as the person named had been overpaid this amount under the 1996 BSE compensation scheme for special beef premium. The balance of £54.12 was paid to the person named on 10 October 1997.

143 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid his 1997 cattle headage and premia grants. [21880/97]

The area aid application for the person has been randomly selected for inspection in accordance with EU regulations. The result of the inspection should be available shortly, and payment will issue shortly subject to the inspection results being satisfactory.

144 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive payment for the 1997 EU area aid for which he applied in May 1997. [21894/97]

The person named applied for premium on nine cows under the 1997 suckler cow premium scheme. This application cannot be fully processed as the person named has not established suckler cow quota rights. My Department has no record of an application from him for rights from the national reserve.

He will be paid his 1997 cattle headage grant before Christmas.
