171 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether a statement (details supplied) confirming that the 66 farmers in County Mayo who have leased commonage in the REP scheme application would be paid without delay was released with his consent. [22184/97]

176 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when area aid payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if his Department will expedite this matter. [22189/97]

An area aid application was received from the person concerned but was unsigned. A letter has issued to the person named with a copy of the application requesting a signature. When the signed application is returned payments will then issue to the herd owner.
