77 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of republican prisoners released since the first IRA ceasefire in 1994; the nature of the offence committed in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10152/98]
A total of 61 subversive prisoners have been granted early release since the IRA ceasefire in 1994. The nature of the offence or offences for which these prisoners were committed and the numbers of prisoners in each category is set out in the following table.
