Vol. 494 No. 3

Written Answers - Health Board Allowances.

John Perry

Ceist:

222 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive his domiciliary allowance in view of the level of medical care and one to one tuition he receives; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18200/98]

The assessment of entitlement to a domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer, North-Western Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
